Memorial Day

On Memorial Day, we went and visited Ryan's mom's grave at the West Jordan City Cemetery.  We placed some pretty silk flowers in a vase next to the headstone and talked about how much we missed her and how time had gone by so fast...  Deanna, Mom, Grandma - we miss you and love you so much.  We can't wait to be reunited with you.

Before Ryan had to leave for work, we also made a point to visit his best friend from high school's grave (Jeff Kinder).  Jeff was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident just a few years after we were married.  What vivid memories we both have of learning of a friend dying so young...  Jeff was very loved and is greatly missed.  Ryan and Jeff had a lot of great memories together.
