Camping at Whitney Reservoir

Last week, we went camping at Whitney Reservoir (up in the high Uinta mountains).  We went with my parents and Ryan's dad along with 3 crazy dogs (we were dogsitting Bella's brother) and the 4-wheelers.  What a beautiful place with wonderful weather!!  It was in the 70's during the day and high 30's at night.  We were able to get an awesome camp spot near the water - Tyler was able to fish from the time he got up until dark.  My mom and the kids went on a hike all the way around the lake (probably about 8 miles) and I slept and read.  It was a very relaxing week and a perfect way to end summer vacation!!

Emily LOVED fishing.  Especially with her very own Barbie pole (not pictured).  She would actually just sit in her chair and wait for a bite.

Cute Megan in the wildflowers
This is how Tyler spent almost the whole trip.  And was so happy.

Kailey was our awesome campfire girl.  She drug over this huge dead tree to cut up for firewood.

Aaah....  Fire is good.

Emily loves Jake.  And he is so good with her.  She rolls all over him, lays on him.  And he just lays there.
Megan holding Stanley (Bella's brother - we were dogsitting).  Everyone fought over who got to hold Stanley while sitting around the campfire.  He and Bella are such good buddies.

Oh, poor Bella.  Ryan poured some grease from cooking dinner into the bushes.  She found it...  Her whole face/head was a big greasy, dirty mess.

Looking out from our campsite to the reservoir
Two of the 4-wheelers and my dad (who really did have a good time)

Oh miss Megan.  Love this girl.
Playing around with my camera.  Love the glow from the campfire off of Tyler and Kailey's faces.
