I can't believe that Tyler is now 12... He was always my little red-headed buddy who used to snuggle in bed with me and watch Blues Clues.... Sniff, sniff... We are so lucky to have Tyler in our family. Poor Tyler is the only boy but is so helpful with his sisters. Some of the things that I love about Tyler:
- Tyler loves to read, just like me. He flew through the The Hunger Games series, Fablehaven, and pretty much any other book he can get his hands on.
- Tyler's red hair. When he was born, his hair was even more carrot-red/orange, about an inch long, and stuck straight up. He was the talk of the nursery at the hospital.
- Tyler loves everything boy, just like his dad. He loves to hunt, fish, camp, hike - anything outdoors. Tyler is such a good sport and is always up for anything.
- Tyler is amazing at figuring things out. He recently just installed brand new doorknobs in our entire house. He can put things together and take things apart.
- Tyler is kind to everyone. He doesn't point fingers or make fun of people.
- Tyler loves his family. He loves to be with his grandparents, cousins, and even his sisters (most of the time).
For Tyler's birthday, we took him and two of his friends to a waterpark. It was a nice, hot day to cool off in the pool and on the slides. They had a great time. Ryan and I hung out with Megan and Emily in the lazy river and in the wading pool. We missed Kailey but she was having a great time at girls' camp.
