Anyone that knows Kailey knows that she has a best friend. Not just a best friend, but a hang out with all the time, tell everything to, never get tired of, share clothes, talk 24-7, go everywhere together kind of friend. And it just so happens that her friend has a name that sounds very much like hers. And it also so happens that we absolutely love her very best friend. And her very best friend's family. And her best friend's brother happens to be best friends with Tyler.
We have been so lucky to get to know the Ekins family and we are so very lucky to have such a wonderful young woman as a best friend for our daughter. It has been so neat to watch their friendship develop. Katelyn is like another one of our kids (probably unfortunately for her sometimes). I really think that Kailey and Katelyn make each other better people. We feel so blessed that Kailey and Katelyn have developed such a good friendship and that we have become friends with the Ekins family. Like I said, their son and Tyler are the same age and best friends. And their other son and Megan are good buddies and love to play together. We just returned from Lake Powell with them and hope to be able to make many, many more memories together.
