Progress on the kitchen and a paint dilemma!

Today my mom and dad spent the entire day at my house painting the cabinet frames.  We did a coat of primer and then the first coat of black paint.  I love it!!  I'm amazed at how different it looks already.  We also reorganized and cleaned out the contents of the cabinets...  Love that too...

My dad has sprayed two coats of paint on the cabinets and is putting the polyurethane on tomorrow (satin finish).  I will be putting the second coat of paint on the cabinet frames tomorrow and then my mom and dad will probably be putting the polyurethane on the frames on Thursday.  I am SO grateful for my mom and dad and how much they are helping me.  My dad has spent so much time on this project and is so willing to help.

Now - the paint color.  Thankfully instead of buying a whole gallon of Tobacco Road, my sweet mom bought a sample can to make sure that I like it.  I like it - but not in the kitchen.  It's pretty close to the rest of my house color but more gold/yellow.  I think I would like it if the whole main level was that color but I don't have the time right now to repaint everything.  I went to Home Depot tonight and brought home about 20 paint swatches.  Crap.  I hate picking paint from a little teeny square.  Anyone have any suggestions for an awesome paint color?  I want to go pretty neutral...
