I went and interviewed yesterday at Pioneer Valley Hospital in West Valley in Labor and Delivery. I was offered the job (part-time nights) and can either start as an LPN in postpartum or wait until I pass my boards (positive thinking) and start in L&D as an RN. I'm a little torn... Mountain West in Tooele has offered me a PRN position in OB to start as an LPN whenever my paperwork goes through and then move me up to RN after my boards. Mountain West pays more but Pioneer Valley has double the amount of deliveries and therefore more experience to offer. I would love to be three minutes down the road, however. Decisions, decisions. Ryan bids for a new shift on December 19th so that may affect things as well.
It is currently snowing like crazy here... Perfect night to snuggle up with a soft blanket and a good movie. Wish my husband was here to share it with me... Guess he is off "serving and protecting". :-)
Here are some pictures that Kailey has taken with her new camera that she got for her birthday...

Not that you asked, but my opinion is Tooele. Driving is a pain, even though PV isn't that far and if you're kids are sick or you're running late you're RIGHT down the road (heck, you are close enough to walk). Plus you wouldn't have to worry about our winter roads. MWMC - more pay, less gas, more convenient, and some patients will be friends. That would be fun, although remember HIPPA :) Pioneer Valley - more cases, more experience.
Shelly? Did you forget about this? It's haunting you, you know you should update. :) Happy New Year!
