I can't believe that the title of my post involved the number 16 and my first born child!! Its seems like just yesterday Kailey was a little blond haired, blue-eyed three-year-old who loved to watch "Blues Clues" and hang out with her mommy all the time... Kailey has turned into such a beautiful and talented teenager. She is so helpful with her sisters and loves to dance, dance, dance. I am so lucky to have such an obedient and helpful teenager (lets hope the rest of the kids are like her).
On the day of Kailey's birthday (October 25th), she had dance from 7-9 p.m. so we had a small family party with Grandpa and Grandma Mathis, Grandpa Wolf, Steve and Andrea and their kids. Kailey had her favorite cheesecake for her cake and opened some fun presents. The following Saturday, I took Kailey and her BFF Katelyn shopping at the mall.
You are probably wondering if 16 means driver's license... Well, not yet. Kailey hasn't even gotten her permit and then has to wait for 6 months to get her license. I have been bugging her to do it but it hasn't happened yet...
