Ryan had Lasik surgery done on Thursday morning at Hoopes Vision in Draper. He has been wanting this for SO long - he hates his contacts and glasses. His eyes are really dry and his contacts make his eyes really tired.
We went ahead and put the money aside in our flexible medical spending account to pay for it. Flex spending accounts are so nice... You almost don't miss the money they take out because it's already gone by the time you get your paycheck.
Anyway, the surgery went really well and Ryan's eyes are already 20/30! The doctor said that over the next month his vision will continue to improve. Ryan has to put drops in all day long - lubricating, steroid, and antibiotics. Kind of a pain and expensive but necessary.
His wound on his leg is about half the size that it was. Once it finally heals and his eyes are healed, he will be in good shape!!

You have to let me know how he likes Lasik as the weeks go by...I was about to do Lasik but really didn't know where to go to have it done?? So I am trying contacts again
