My sister (Hadley) told me a few weeks ago that they were planning on driving to UT so that Corey, my niece, could audition at SUU in Cedar City for their show choir. She was planning to drive to our house but it added an extra 7-8 hours driving time to their trip, so I decided to take the kids and drive to Cedar City instead.
We arrived Sunday night at about 9:00 p.m. and spent two fun days with Hadley and the girls (Corey, Emily, Aubrey, and Julia). The kids went swimming several times at the hotel and other than eating out, spent time together talking and laughing. Well - Julia and Megan were either laughing and playing or fighting and tattling. :-) Typical 4-year-olds.
We left Tuesday at about 4:00 p.m. to head home. We would have LOVED to have spent more time but the kids are in the middle of CORE testing at school.
I love and admire my sister so much. She is an amazing mom and my nieces are the greatest!!! I can't believe that Corey is graduating from high school... What a beautiful and talented young woman she is. This also holds true for Emily, Aubrey, and Julia. I wish that we lived closer to them and that I could see them grow up on a more regular basis. My kids love their cousins and have so much fun spending time with them. Corey is graduating on June 12th and we are hoping to be able to take a road trip to San Diego for the exciting event.
