Okay, I'll admit - yesterday I turned 33!! I can't believe I'm approaching my mid-thirties.
Anyway, it was a fun day. For most of the day, I hung around the house and did laundry, picked up, etc. The typical mom stuff. I got a few phone calls (which were really nice) and took Megan and her friend to Carl's Jr. When Kailey and Tyler got out of school at 3:10, I picked them up and we headed into Salt Lake. We met Ryan and went to Costco (and got a yummy cheesecake for my birthday cake).
At 5:30, we met Steve and Andrea and the kids and Ryan's parents and brother at the Old Spaghetti Factory. YUM!!! Love the spaghetti with mizithra cheese! It was really fun to be able to visit and relax. Thanks to Steve and Andrea for the gift card and cookies and to Ryan's parents for the money!
After we got home, the kids and Ryan gave me their gifts. Megan was so funny - she was opening the gifts before I could even get to them. The kids gave me some pajamas to wear post-baby at the hospital (I hate wearing hospital gowns) and Ryan gave me a glider/rocker with an ottoman!! Our old one was falling apart - he actually gave it to me for my birthday before Kailey was born 12 years ago. The wood posts on the back have been glued on multiple times and the fabric on the cushion was ripping and falling apart. Definitely time for a new one and I love it!!
All in all, it was a good day. Birthdays aren't the same as when you are little but my family did a great job of making it really nice.

Happy Happy Birthday Shelly Dear! Happy days will come to you all year...ya, you of all people know the rest. :) I'm glad it was a good day. When I read your post, "it was fun....I did laundry and picked up..." I was feeling sorry for you. Typical mom day, but the post did get better.
BTW, you are OLD!!! ;) I've never thought of myself as nearly mid-30's, thanks for causing my heart to palpatate and all my nerves painfully signal, "say it ain't so!" Approaching mid-thirties, shame on you for reminding me. :D
Im glad that you had a great birthday! 33 isnt that bad - a couple more days and I will be 43
