Our baby is one!!!

Emily turned one on April 3rd. I can't believe it... The past year has gone by so fast. Emily is such a true joy in our lives. Here are some of the fun things about our baby girl...

• Emily says one word - DOG!! (Well, she says it more like "da") Not mom or dad but dog. She loves to look out our back door at Sam and Maggie outside and yell "da"!
  
• Emily is crawling and pulling herself up to everything. Thankfully she isn't walking yet - all the more to get into. She loves to climb up the stairs - drives us CRAZY although it's super cute.
• Emily loves to eat. Anything we are eating, she will have a bite of. She loves sitting at the bar with the kids and dinnertime at the table.
• At her one-year checkup, Emily weighs 19 lb 2 oz. The only one of our kids that at one year can't be forward-facing in her carseat yet.
• Emily will NOT go to strangers. She is still such a mommy's girl, although going to daddy is getting more acceptable.
• Emily has three teeth - two on the bottom and one on the top.
  
• Emily sleeps all night in her crib. I shouldn't say it out loud because we all know what will happen tonight...
