An update...

I know... I know... I give everyone else heck about not updating their blog and here it's been a month since I updated mine. I will post pics later but thought I would post what has been going on with our family.

Kailey left for Girl's Camp on Monday. She was really excited and a little nervous... We have MISSED her this week! All week I have thought, "I should call Kailey and find out how she is!" Silly me - no cell phones allowed at camp!! It's been weird not talking to her and Megan asks everyday when she is coming home. She should arrive home at about noon tomorrow...

Last week we had our big family vacation for the summer. Sunday night we went up to Lagoon and stayed at the campground. Monday was spent at Lagoon as well as Monday night at the campground there. Tuesday we went to Cherry Hill for fun at the waterpark, miniature golfing, and the playground. We stayed at their campground Tuesday night and then went to Pineview Reservoir on Wednesday for four days of boating fun. What a great time we had!!! This was originally supposed to be our Yellowstone trip but due to gas prices, we stayed closer to home. I think that the kids had more fun anyway.

As most of you know, Ryan is a hunter and loves to hunt all kinds of big game. We found out two nights ago that he drew a permit to hunt a MOOSE!!! A female but still a moose nonetheless. I asked him what the heck we will do if he actually shoots one. He replied, "We will have a freezer FULL of moose meat!" YUCK!!! Me and wild game just don't mix in the kitchen.

Little Emily is getting so big... She is on the verge of giggling and smiles and coos all day long. Look for pictures in my next post...
