What a week it has been!! On Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m., I took my boards. This is the state NCLEX-RN test that allows me to practice fully as an RN. Up until now, I have had my temporary RN license which expired on June 7th. Without going into a long explanation of the NCLEX test, I ended up with 75 questions (the minimum amount). Test results are available after two days - this is what I saw on the state licensing website this morning...

This means that I PASSED!!! Yaa hoo! I am so excited to throw away my NCLEX study materials and sell my nursing books. Amazing that a 75 question test was the end of my years of studying and going to school.
The other surpise I received on Thursday morning. When I got up, I found an empty suitcase on the kitchen counter and a card taped to it. In the card, Ryan poetically explained that he had arranged a surprise overnight trip for the two of us (for Mother's Day and our anniversary on the 13th) and that I was to meet him at 2:00 p.m. that day in Magna. He had arranged for my mom to come out and stay with the kids.
I met him and he ended up taking me to The Homestead. We had a really relaxing evening on Thursday - drove around Midway/Heber, went to dinner, rented a movie, and watched TV (on the yummy relaxing bed). Friday morning we slept in, relaxed in the two-person jetted tub, checked out of the hotel, and ate lunch in Heber. We then stopped at the outlet stores in Park City and did some shopping.
All in all, it ended up being a great week!! What a relief to have passed my boards and then to go to a relaxing, nice hotel overnight - what fun!!
